I made this riff around the age of 12 or 13. I realized by not inverting the f chord that I was some kind of fucking genious. I debated whether I could release this as I ascribe to conservative Judaism as my current system of rules in indie rock... so the lyrics and vocal turned out punk. well, if cancerslug's frontman uses a blade to cut his back on stage... if valantiine can write about drinking and hurling... if hop along is lead by some kind of wonderfull curse to who knows who? my content is that of a gutterpunk that ended up w music equipment clothes + social security disability. free money, for which I am thankful but its about time I hit the fucking road I think. my music is nothing you wouldn't hear coming out of a punk sparing change for a tall can. true I don't drink but, I did. i had some great talks out in seattle. my name is chosen. i decided that civilian housing was what i needed to do. i wanted to record. i got 5000 dollars in back pay and so funded my studio. hahaha no character limit. this track exists to advance proper context in the same way other bands already have. (+ now again.) it seems that every middle ground artist has a flaw that gives it character. here is mine. KEXP may be the face of my 3rd God, 2nd being David Geffen. i was 7. i went out in my underwear to hear what this awesome music that i caught the first song from my room. i saw nirvana play territorial pissings by nirvana. mom! what the fuck was that? son, that was punk rock. -ben
